Gnome 40 is going to get us all into legal trouble

As a gnome integrator,
I created this bug out of genuine concern that Gnome 40 is going to get us into serious legal trouble.
I’m sorry if the developers feel this is a shit post that is not the intention. The intention is for the developers and designers to be careful when designing things that are copies of existing tech.

Closing the bug without any chance of rebuttal to explain the intention is not very helpful to the discussion. As the legal concerns are quite pressing.

I’m sorry, but unless you’re a IP expert you should really refrain from talking about anybody “copying” designs or violating patents.

Plus, it’s pretty much debatable whether GNOME’s design is a copy of anything else.

Personally, I think this is really not a constructive topic at all, and there’s nothing to discuss.
