I have two screens set up like this:
I have a large dock (toolbox, Layers, Tool options, etc…) usually on the small screen:
And if I hit [Tab]
twice, the dock disappears to reappear on the other screen:
… at the very same distance from the left edge, as measured with my screen ruler, and probably at the same distance from the top edge, as eyeballed.
This independently of the “Utility windows” setting.
Kubuntu 24.04, Plasma/Kwin desktop.
@Ofnuts Do you use Wayland?

Nope. X11:
>echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE
x11
and:
>loginctl show-session 3 -p Type
Type=x11

But 1) I’m on Linux, and 2) I don’t see the problem with 2.10.34.
Fun thing, if I ask Gimp to save the windo positions in Preferences, and exit/restart, then the window is restored on the right screen.
(can’t add comments to the Gitlab report because the 2FA of gnome.gitlab.org crashes and burns.)
I’m on Linux
The issue I linked is not Windows-specific, as you can see in the labels:
