You still have not answered what buffer overflow vulnerability you are talking about.
In case you mean this CVE then that was fixed and GIMP 2.10.32 and 2.10.34 (the current stable release) are without the vulnerability.
If you know about another vulnerability, I urge you to give us details so we can do something about it.
