Getting the installed software on my desktop

Hi all,
Maybe a stupid question, but today I installed Fedora for the first time, downloaded the apps and tried to get them clickable on the desktop.
Until;l now it did not work properly.
Please inform how to get the programs on the software or in a dock

regards,

Hans Minekus

  1. Pressing Win key twice quickly should show icons of installed apps.
  2. You can drag the icons to dock with mouse.

Thank you very much, I have the dock. Dragging from the dock to the main screen is not working, plaes tell me how
I am happy until now with Fedora, it is fast and better than Ubuntu and Zorin

Hans

GNOME does not use the desktop to present launchers, files, or applications.

I recommend asking support for Fedora on the Fedora forums.

Sorry. I misread the question.

https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/2087/desktop-icons-ng-ding/ is probably what you are looking for.

For any issues related to the above extension, please contact the extension authors or the Fedora forum as mentioned above, as it’s not part of core GNOME.
