well, personal and friends are shown, but only personal is selected (i guess only one can be selected to process obiously)
with up/down arrow, it’s easy to select up/down like on a file browser. But to tick it as show/hide it, i dont find it ?
via the tab key, i can pass from the task list, to the list of the tasklist (the panel on the left). THen with the up/down keys, to select the active one (to process, as said). But now i’d like to know how to show/hide (via the box to tick) on the main view, via keyboard shortcut ?
space and return key works until another window is opened, eg to open a task or create a new one. When going back to the main window, space/return are not functionnal anymore to do this operation
well, the task lists, as usual, it’s where i interact by kb or click to select a task, or even if i create a new one.. then no way to enable/disable a list in the left pane
Hi,
I find it rather hard to realize where the focus is myself, also
because the default tree view selection color does not change when the
tree view is not focused (at least in the theme I use).
The task list (and calendar list and memo list, and even the address
book list) consist of several columns, in this case (and in this
order):
> task list color | [x] | task list name |
You can move between the respective columns with left/right arrows.
It’s not that easy to see, but the focused cell has a surrounding dash-
rectangle around its content. To have the space toggle the check you
need to have focused the middle column, the one with the check.
That’s how the standard GtkTreeView works, Evolution does not modify
the behaviour of it.
Rather than fighting with the focused column it might be sometimes
easier to press Shift+F10 followed by o, which opens the context
menu (there’s also a dedicated context menu key on some keyboards, I’ve
it on the left side of the right-Control key) and picks “Show Only This
Task List” menu option from it.
You can have shown multiple task lists at the same time, there’s no
problem with that. The one you add the tasks to is the one selected in
the task list.
By the way, no idea whether you use the “Click to add” part of the task
list table, but it’s gone for the next 3.64.x stable series (to be
released in ~6 months). You’ll be able to add new tasks with Ctrl+N key
press instead.
