I report this here because this is a nuisance for years now. I am using a Radicale caldav /carddav server on Opensuse Leap. When adding a new appointment, sometimes when altering an event, My actual linux version is 3.46 on Kali Linux 4/2022. This also occurs on Opensuse Tumbleweed.
Does anybody know there this comes from? Mozilla Thunderbird has no problems with creating events. The timezone descriptions in events created by Thunderbird are way longer and more extensive than the ones from Gnome Evolution.
