Digital signature and/or hash

Hi,

Is it plan or possible to provide digital signature for Meld installers?

I would like to install it at work and my security team requests this before allowing the installation.

If not, it’s possible to have the hash for the installer (windows at least) from a “trusted source”.

I have looked into signing, but it appears to be significant work and infrastructure, and Meld doesn’t currently have a Windows maintainer.

The new 3.24.0 release is the first with an actual Windows binary on the new pipeline, and I’m still figuring out the details there. I would like to provide hashes for those, but haven’t looked into what would be involved there yet.
