Connecting from old RDP client / disabling NLA

Hello. I’m working with some RDP clients from before 2018, which don’t support modern NLA. I know using them is not very wise in terms of security, but it isn’t really a concern in my case. I’ve tried to locate the option to turn off the Network Level Authentication or to find another way to make them work with the remote desktop, but I came up with nothing. If it turns out to be impossible, could You give me some alternatives? Wayland is a must and it would be nice if the method won’t be deprecated. Using newer clients is not an option for me. I can use other protocols if needed, but the clients won’t be new either.
