Collection of user data - is there any?

Hello!

I am wondering if Meld collects user data in any form, and if it does if there is a data retention policy, and if it has a privacy policy.

I’ve been using it for 10+ years and someone brought this up and it made me curious.

Do you mean collecting user data via internet? If yes, then no it doesn’t.

When installed via flatpak, it requires “only“ full system files access (which is IMO unacceptable, but oh well, I digress). It doesn’t need any network access.
