Changing to flatpak install mucks up tag associations

After upgrading to Pop!_OS 24.04 I tried installing the flatpak version in an attempt to future-proof against the OS not keeping up. The install was fine and I simply copied the photo.db to the new install directory. Everything looked fine, but then I noticed that images in some of the tags were not only the wrong images, but also distorted–like it is putting the wrong images in the same place in the view. So, are there other files that need to be copied to the flatpak directories? If there are instructions on making this change out there somewhere, I’m happy to go read and follow; I just couldn’t find anything.

I think the “easiest” way would be to give the flatpak the “host” permission for the filesystem. I’d have to think about what else would need to be moved into the flatpak otherwise.
