I’m trying to migrate to a new laptop running ubuntu 24.04 from an older one running 20.04. The new evolution version is 3.52.3-0ubuntu1 and the DM is unity. I need to be able to insert an html file into a new html message, but there simply is no way I can find to do this in the newer version. I’m not getting the stack of pancakes that should lead me to the menu item. Help please!
“Insert > HTML File” in the toolbar of the mail composer, as usual.
Hi,
it is shown only for the “modern” view, which has buttons beside the
window name. Maybe you turned that off in Edit->Preferences->Appearance.
You can still get to the menu when you hold down the Alt key for
several seconds. Try Alt+I to access the Insert menu (if you have the
interface in English).
You can also enable the Menu Bar in the Appearance section of the
Preferences, which is for all windows, not only for the composer.
Bye,
Milan
Milan, you saved a life today!
Thanks much.
