I’ve been searching and I found an extension to change the wallpaper when I lock the computer, but if I switch users it goes gray. Is there any way to change this? I’ve been searching and haven’t found anything helpful. I’d like to use the rounded corners on the lockscreen/user switcher as well, but I’m doubting this is possible. I’m using Fedora 43 and GNOME 49 if this is helpful.
Apologies if this has already been asked, but I definitely have searched to no avail. Thanks in advance for any help!
The extension you installed, was installed on your user only. Login Manager (the big gray thingy that welcomes you every time you launch your computer) is seperate from your user session. You can install https://flathub.org/en/apps/io.github.realmazharhussain.GdmSettings to change the wallpaper there.
Thanks for replying! I’ve installed the referenced app and looked for the wallpaper setting in the login screen menu, but it isn’t there. The only wallpaper option I found is for my desktop.
There is no drop down menu there, just Adwaita, but I do have additional cursors installed. I am using a custom cursor on my user. I wonder if there is a separate folder I need to place them?
