Auto-Connect to SFTP drive for backup

So, I recently configured a Linux tablet for use by a family member. One concern I had was about backups, since regularly connecting a tablet to an disk to make a backup could be easily forgotten.

So, I’ve set up a small server using an old laptop to provide a SFTP access to the tablet, and configure Pika Backup to backup to said server.

This all works fine when I set it up. However, on a later check I noticed that I overlook the issue of bringing the tablet to auto-connect to the network drive in order to run the backup. So Pika itself don’t automatically runs the backup as intended, as it can’t reach the backup location.

After searching around a bit and not finding a clear solution, the question is:
Can I configure gvfs in a way that will make it connect automatically with the network drive when in a specific network, so I can ensure the backups are run?
