40 Feature request: Create new workspace to the left

I just upgraded to Fedora 34 and am using GNOME 40 now. I noticed an absense of a feature which I think would be great to add (back) to GNOME.

On 3.38, one could drag an application above the workspaces in Activities, creating a new workspace ‘on top’. In 40, one cannot create a new workspace to the left with a drag-and-drop but you can create a new one with a Super+Shift+PgUp.

Could this feature be added?

Thanks for the excellent release as 40 is really stellar.
